At Evolution Academy Trust, we are very clear about Governance, roles and responsibilities. 

The Trust’s Board has established separate sub-committees for Risk and Audit, Finance, Standards, People and infrastructure.

In addition, each school has a Local Governing Body (LGB).  We value the role of parent and community members and the local insights, experiences and skills they bring.

Trust Governance Professional

Andrea Ryan joined Evolution Academy Trust in September 2023 and brings a wealth of experience from her career in governance.   Following a change of direction from a career in banking, Andrea joined the Local Authority Governance Support Service in Suffolk in 2008.   Since 2014, she has worked across all sectors of school governance including at Trust Board level.  Her role is to provide support and advice to ensure strong governance underpins the high expectations of the Trust.  Andrea completed the National Clerks’ Development qualification in 2018.
